Group Fitness and Kids Club Coordinator

Job Description:

This is a multi-unit role with the purpose of elevating member engagement and experience by providing group fitness programming and overseeing the kids club curriculum. The Group Fitness and Kids Club Coordinator will be responsible for the success and growth of our group fitness and kids club offering throughout our Dallas/Fort Worth market.

Responsibilities:

• Program Creation - The Coordinator will develop a calendar of creative, and educational programming that will refresh monthly. This programming will create a fun and safe environment for kids.
• Perform 20 hours of administrative work in the club and 5-10 hours of group fitness instruction weekly.
• Recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating kids club attendants and group fitness instructors.
• Creation and distribution of group fitness schedules.
• Manage group fitness payroll.
• Partner with Club management to ensure kids club attendants and group fitness instructors are meeting and exceeding expectations.
• Spend time on the floor and at the front desk to make sure we are delivering an exceptional member experience.
• Evaluate the cleanliness of the kids club and group fitness areas.
• Conduct kids club and group fitness class audits.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Child and Infant CPR certified.
• Be enthusiastic, energetic, and personable.
• Experience writing curriculum & developing programming for kids.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• World-class customer service skills.
• Works hard, multi-task, and is a problem solver.
• Proven leadership ability in an educational, fitness, or professional setting.
• Proven ability to hire, direct, and train staff.
• Excellent time management, organizational, problem solving, and follow-up skills.
• Possess honesty and personal integrity.
• Computer literate.
• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or similar.
• Preferred Bilingual English & Spanish speaking
