Housekeeper (Bella Madera)

SUMMARY

Provides general cleaning and upkeep of each apartment and community common areas in order to enhance and maintain its appeal.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Clean the office, clubroom, restrooms and other common areas on a daily basis prior to 9:00 A.M.

2. Clean and maintain models and/or target units on a daily basis.

3. Complete all duties regarding make-ready/vacant unit directed by the Manager or Assistant Manager including cleaning of the following:

a. Appliances

b. Windows

c. Floors

d. Bathroom fixtures

e. Cabinets – inside and outside

f. Vacuuming

g. Light fixtures – inside and outside entry doors

h. Outlet covers

i. Window treatments – blinds or rods

j. Patio/balcony

k. Light bulb changing/replacement

4. Keep all vacancies fresh and odorless.

5. Clean and maintain all common areas daily by 10:00 A.M.

6. Assist with the removal of refuse from vacant units and trash on the property as needed.

7. Inform management of cleaning and bathroom supply needs on a weekly basis.

8. Operate within OSHA, ADA, Fair Housing guidelines.

9. Take proper care of tools and equipment.

10. Assist with resident functions, as requested.

11. Notify maintenance of burned-out light bulbs, broken globes, etc, in units and throughout the exterior of the property, as needed.

12. Observes condition of the property in general and reports any unusual circumstances.

13. Maintains good rapport with outside, contract vendors, staff members.

14. Performs other duties as requested

REQUIREMENTS

1. Ability to walk, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, climb steps and lift up to 75 lbs.

2. Ability to use mops, brooms, vacuum cleaner, window squeegee, scrubber, step stool, small ladder, screwdriver, and other miscellaneous hand tools. Requirement to wear gloves and other protective equipment as task dictates.

3. Ability to respond courteously to residents, staff, and vendors

4. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

5. Must be knowledgeable and skilled in safe use and maintenance of cleaning fluids and tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
