POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Manager, Marketing Partnership Programs, the Marketing Partnership Development Representative will identify and develop regional and national partnerships with a focus on obtaining in-kind and financial sponsorships and assets. This role will systematically and strategically identify and nurture partnerships that bring awareness and engagement to our mission through alignment and media, support operational cost efficiencies, and meet goals across Versiti.
This position provides cross-functional relationship management and communication to PR, donor and corporate marketing teams, and requires demonstrated

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct lead generation, prospecting, and qualifying potential new partners
Research companies, C-Level executives, business trends, and competitive intelligence to create detailed and strategic communication plans
Proactively schedule calls with prospective partners via phone and email
Educate prospective partners on Versiti’s mission
Partner with Versiti leaders to create a core toolkit and customized plans for impactful meetings with potential partners and sponsors
Coordinate internal subject matter experts to support prospective partnership meetings
Create and manage pipeline of partnerships that will result in impactful opportunities and align with executives and peers to ensure ownership of connections are clear and aligned
Creates and manages annual plan for communications and outreach for ongoing growth of Versiti partners
Cultivate and maintain regional and high-impact partnerships with community organizations, aligning and supporting executive relationship outcomes strategies
Event support as a result of key partnerships in collaboration with internal stakeholders as identified
Identify paid and in-kind media opportunities across all channels to engage donors, bring awareness to our mission and ensure cost efficiencies
Cultivate excellent relationships with primary vendors, key account managers, and sponsorship partners
Develop strong working relationships and understanding of all Versiti business segments and affiliate leaders to communicate and effectively integrate into all segment marketing programs to elevate awareness
Ensures all Versiti in-kind and paid media adheres to brand guidelines and voice; including, but not limited to: out of home, digital/social, partnership platforms
Coordinates and implements special projects as assigned within specified timeframes.
Represents Versiti and segment partner at designated meetings.
Travels as needed to ensure primary sponsor relationships across Versiti are handled with the highest level of respect and care
Education
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or relevant field required
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of agency or corporate marketing experience, with emphasis on marketing sponsorships and programming, as well as asset management with demonstrated achievement of business growth goals based on strategies formulated by leadership
Event coordination
Experience in effectiveness measures related to marketing campaigns
Demonstrated success in working effectively within cross functional teams to achieve predefined organizational outcomes
Skills and Knowledge
Strong brand management and program planning skills
Demonstrated, effective partnership development and management
Ability to influence cross-functional teams
Awareness to current, effective marketing outreach techniques that influence behavior for commercial and cause organizations
High level of marketing and advertising knowledge through partnerships and across traditional and digital platforms to recommend strategies to meet growth goals and strengthen brand position
Ability to identify opportunities, communicate goals and deliver written action plans
Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking, deductive reasoning, and problem-solving skills
Working knowledge of current marketing tools, including but not limited to: Adobe Creative suite, CRM, email broadcast tools, Microsoft Office, social media management and sites
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Ability to work independently in consultation with key stakeholders
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, including negotiation and conflict management: the ability to effectively listen, apply servant leadership and communicate positively with media, sponsors, donors, and peers.
Exceptional project management and organizational skills
Effective verbal and written communication including professional presentation skills
