The Role
- The Product Manager will lead the payments product roadmap and will oversee the product development lifecycle of Payment functions and products. This role will be responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle including: market research, competitive research, defining product vision and roadmap for payments capabilities and products, creating and prioritizing product requirements, and working closely with engineering and other areas of the business to ensure product goals are met.
Duties/Responsibilities
Product Strategy/Vision/Roadmap
- Collaborate with executives and other team members to craft a compelling roadmap that balances the company’s strategic goals and objectives with the customers’ needs
- Lead a team to develop high quality, market leading payment capabilities while driving execution of the product strategy from concept to launch and maintenance
- Gather and manage customer product feedback including the features portal
- Research product problems and solutions with customers
- Develop an understanding of the competitive landscape related to competitors’ payments functionality
- Identify and track product plans and progress against key business and work type allocation goals
Requirements/Release Planning
- Define high quality requirements for the engineering and design teams
- Actively manage/prioritize the product backlog
- Manage release planning to establish timing expectations, working closely with engineering teams
- UAT for payment product capabilities to ensure quality and adherence to requirements
Understanding of Product/Product Communications
- Serve the company and customers as an expert on the product
- Be an evangelist for products including presentations and product demonstrations
- Work closely with Product Marketing to provide product expertise in development of positioning and marketing programs to drive usage and education
- Collaborate on internal and external training plans, delivery methodologies, and content
- Partner with customer teams to provide excellent post-sale experience
What Does It Take
- 5 years in software product management in SaaS company using an Agile methodology
- Payments experience a plus
- Experience with data driven product design and roadmapping; defining, launching, and managing successful technology products
- Strong technical acumen and strong analytical skills
- Good communicator; comfortable presenting in front of audiences
- Highly detail-oriented and intellectually curious

Location
This is a full-time, permanent position, either fully remote or based in our Indianapolis HQ. We do not offer Visa sponsorship or relocation assistance at this time.
