As a member of the Site Development Team, the Site Development Manager will provide overall project management support by assisting in various activities using resources and information related to restaurant site development and construction. The Site Development Manager will provide support at all phases of new restaurant site acquisition and development. This position will also support all new restaurant activities for the successful planning, tracking, and reporting of essential metrics to ensure the success of company goals and objectives.
The Site Development Manager will be responsible for the calculation and tracking of all applicable site development lease dates, lease work letters, and lease exhibits. Other key responsibilities include inspections, due diligence investigations, and all building permits.
The Site Development Manager will work under the direction of the Sr. Director of Site Development and will directly support the Sr. Site Development Manager.
This role will be based in our Tampa Restaurant Support Center and candidates will need to be local to that Tampa Bay area as the role will work onsite 2-3 days per week.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
* Assist in Real Estate Tour Book preparation
* Develop and maintain the schedule for new restaurant sites
* Prepare Real Estate Committee presentation materials
* Prepare site plans
* Acquire site investigation reports
* Support the Real Estate Director and Real Estate Attorney
* Prepare landlord/tenant deliverables timelines
* Prepare lease exhibits
* Manage, monitor, and report lease milestones
* Maintain team meeting notes
* Acquire environmental/soils/asbestos reports from outside consultants
* Acquire surveys and site construction documents from outside consultants
* Manage building permit applications and acquisitions
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
* Degree in Engineering, Land Planning, or related field
Experience/Skills:
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience supporting project development (restaurant or retail industry experience highly preferred)
* Proficient computer skills with MS Office Suite (including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook)
* AutoCAD drafting proficiency required
* Parking lot design experience required
* PDF editing (Adobe, Bluebeam) experience is required
* Strong customer service skills--- responds to problems in a tactful and expedient manner
* Strong verbal & written communication and organizational skills with attention to detail and follow up
* Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks as well as work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Foster positive and effective business relationships with internal and external customers
* Self-starter and able to adapt and interact professional with all levels of the organization
