Certified Veterinary Technician Needed

If you are, you just might be the person we are looking for to become part of our dedicated veterinary team. We are a fast-paced, one doctor practice that prides itself on teamwork and a warm, caring approach toward our clients and patients.

We are looking for a very personable, intelligent, capable Licensed or Certified Veterinary Technician, or if not licensed, then must have experience! We are a busy, small animal hospital that focuses on high quality medicine and surgery. Salary based on certification and experience.

REQUIREMENTS:

• License/Certification in Veterinary Technology
• Ability to run in-house Laboratory equipment, perform urinalysis, fecal flotation, cytology, etc
• Ability to perform anesthetic induction and monitoring of anesthetized patients
• Perform blood draws, catheter placements, treatments for animal patients
• Compassionate animal care
• Friendly Customer service and client education
• Optimistic, positive outlook and personality
• Healthy with excellent physical fitness
• Must have basic computer literacy skills and be able to handle multiple unrelated tasks simultaneously while working in a busy environment.
• Must also be able to lift 50 pounds, work on feet all day, and write legibly.
• Must be customer service oriented and friendly.
• Professional appearance required, scrubs are to be worn at all times

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: Up to $23.00 per hour

• Hopwood, PA 15445: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Veterinary experience: 1 year (Preferred)
