BLU Point Seafood Co. brings fresh seafood to the Shenandoah Valley, prepared in a manner to honor the classics, in a warm and welcoming environment by a talented and friendly staff.

BLU Point combines the feel of the Chesapeake Bay blended with the New England shore. The coastal décor is casual, bright and open with porthole style mirrors, nautical features, weathered accents, and big windows fronting the historic main street. Shades of Blues and earth tones remind you of both the ocean and the east coast shoreline. The room is a mixture of open community seating and cozy little nooks. Lighting creates a warm glow throughout the space setting a mood of approachability and relaxed casual energy. Follow the wave of the curved bar which flows to the open raw bar, a focal point of the room providing constant entertainment.

The menu showcases New England specialties like lobster rolls, fry baskets, steamers and creamy chowders. Straight from the Chesapeake Bay and the surrounding waterways you will find fresh caught rockfish, Blue crab, and an abundance of local oysters. Though our focus is seafood, the land lovers can affirm our continued commitment to local, with a variety of meat offerings along with the best of the valley’s produce. We use products that are farmed and fished in sustainable methods as much as possible.

The bar at BLU Point serves classic cocktails with a twist. The names you know, the flavors you recognize but sometimes they have been slightly altered and modernized with new and local ingredients to make them even better. Beer taps are reserved for regional craft beers and ciders with bottles focusing more on domestic favorites. The wine list is a mix of regional boutique wines and high quality old and new world bottles.

While we offer the highest quality food and drinks from the freshest ingredients, we make sure that we also offer our Guests value. Items are fairly priced making it easy for both locals and tourists to dine with us often. And it’s our people that pull it all together. Service is friendly and welcoming. Our Team is trained to know the story of our food; where it came from and how it got here. They engage with their Guests to determine their preferences and customize each experience to ensure it is exactly what that Guest is looking for. *Job Overview* We are seeking dedicated Servers to join our team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. *Responsibilities* - Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner - Take food and beverage orders accurately - Deliver orders promptly and ensure guest satisfaction - Process payments using cash registers or handheld devices - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders - Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area *Skills* - Strong guest services skills - Proficiency in using cash registers - Basic math skills for handling payments - Excellent customer service abilities - Familiarity with reservation systems like OpenTable is a plus - Effective time management skills - Knowledge of fine dining etiquette is advantageous - Hospitality mindset to create a welcoming atmosphere
