Blue Canyon Technologies is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Program Manager Intern CubeSat to join our BCT Summer in Space Internship program. Applicants must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university. In addition, applicants must be enrolled fall semester 2022. This will be a full-time position for the summer for approximately 10 weeks, starting at the end of May 2023.

Pay Range: $27.56 - $29.29 hour (Salary rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
Location: Lafayette or Boulder, CO
Job Responsibilities:
- Support Program Management with program budget forecast and actuals analysis.
- Support Program Management in coordinating new business program schedule and technical estimates.
- Support Program Management in monitoring and tracking of program statuses.
- Support Program Management in coordinating and preparing major review presentation materials.
- Coordinate the implementation of Program Management Plans across functional areas.
- Develop tools to track schedule variances for engineering and materials procurement.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing an undergrad degree from a four-year university or Graduate student. Must be working towards an undergraduate or a Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics Major, or equivalent technical discipline.
- Experience with PowerPoint, Excel Pivot Tables and/or Power Query
- Preferred but not required: experience with Microsoft Project or Visio
- Strong ability to work in teams and collaborate with peers and internal customers
- Strong analytical skills – comfortable working with quantitative and qualitative data
- Ability to learn new processes quickly and effectively multi-task
- Effective communication skills; comfortable working in a team environment; high energy and desire to learn.
- Demonstrated leadership experience through school or extracurricular projects
- US Citizenship required
Position Details:
- 3-month paid internship at BCT facility (non-remote/on-site daily)
- 40 hours per week
- No relocation assistance
Working Conditions:
This job operates in a professional office environment, but in a manufacturing company. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines.
