Accounting Manager

Accounting Manager (private / corporate sector) – *** CPA required ***

• Location: Las Vegas, Nevada area
• 100% In-office, full time position (Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm, with after-hours flexibility when necessary)
• Compensation: $125,000 to $150,000 salary commensurate with experience; discretionary bonus potential; comprehensive benefits (offer contingent on background checks)

SUMMARY: Growing management consulting firm seeks an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations expansion with multiple entities and international operations, along with onboarding and integration of a new ERP. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public/private sector accounting, including knowledge of multiple entity setups, ERP integration, Multinational accounting, and Tax.

Responsibilities – Accounting Manager:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts to ensure financial stability and growth
• Audit and Compliance: Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, including month-end and year-end close processes
• Cash Management: Monitor cash flow, manage banking relationships, and optimize cash positions
• Tax Planning and Compliance: Work with tax advisors to ensure accurate and timely tax filings and optimize tax strategies
• ERP Integration: Oversee the integration of financial data into the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and provide strategic recommendations
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations

Qualifications – Accounting Manager:

• CPA REQUIRED
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance REQUIRED
• Minimum 5 years’ Public Accounting experience REQUIRED
• 5 years of progressive accounting experience, able to manage projects across various teams
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and compliance
• Experience with multiple-entity setups and ERP systems
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• Proven leadership abilities
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
