** This position needs to be based a commutable distance within 100 miles from Austin, TX **
Job Purpose:
This position is responsible for researching, developing, and conducting preventive care and health education programs for corporate customers to include development of collaterals and outcomes reporting; and providing onsite support for designated employer groups for worksite wellness activities.
Required Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Health Education, Health Promotion, Community or Public Health, or in the health field.
- Registered dietician (where contractually obligated)
- 4 years experience developing and presenting programs in corporate, public or community health education, or health promotion.
- Knowledge of the health and wellness marketplace and employer trends.
- Verbal and written communication skills including composing and conducting presentations, composing programs, and interfacing with internal staff/management and external vendors and community resources.
- Organization and time management skills, along with the ability to work with minimum supervision both independently and in a group setting.
- Analytical experience including medical/health education analysis.
- PC proficiency to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to travel including overnight stays"
- Certified Wellness Program Coordinator and/or Certified Wellness Pratitioner
- Health Educator
- Presentation Skills (a must)
