GROUP UNDERWRITER 1
As an underwriter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring Wyoming businesses have access to the healthcare coverage they need. You will be working closely with others in a collaborative environment to achieve departmental and company goals. You will review existing and prospective client applications to ensure they are in compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
Responsibilities include processing small group renewals and small group reopenings, assessing eligibility for continued coverage, and processing proposals.
To be successful in this role, an incumbent must possess strong attention to detail, have the ability to focus, be goal oriented, communicate effectively, and interact with others in a dynamic team environment. Computer skills and an understanding of software navigation is a must.
A high school diploma or equivalent education is required, and knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.

Our positions are all based in Wyoming. Depending on the department and the position, eligible employees may be offered limited In-Office/WFH flexibility (for those positions that are offered limited WFH, there will be a required number of In-Office days per week/month depending on department). Executive level employees are required to reside full-time in Wyoming.

- Possible 2nd Interview with Hiring Manager and/or additional Team members.
