Marketing / Publicity Assistant (Real Estate Technology)

Blue Fire Group creates real estate CRM and marketing technology systems (SAAS). We are seeking a Marketing / PR Coordinator to work closely with the CEO to help market our latest BUYING BUDDY platform for Real Estate professionals, and significantly increase our national visibility in the real estate market.

Responsibilities and Duties

You will help execute the publicity plan to create buzz around our product and services:

• Assist with SEO strategies and ideas
• Create and publish content for blogs, press releases, website, YouTube, and social media
• Assist with communications to customers through Facebook and email newsletters
• Help to reach out to industry journalists and influencers

You will rapidly become familiar with our real estate CRM / marketing solutions and the real estate industry, so that you can ultimately help with your own original content ideas and also, for example, pitching stories to journalists and bloggers.
Ideal candidate will be comfortable and confident executing these activities. Possibly a PR / Marketing graduate or entry level marketing professional, or someone who sees themselves as a PR, marketing and publicity geek.

You are looking for an opportunity to make a difference, and are highly proactive (takes the initiative), very comfortable using technology and a natural and creative writer.

• Work from home - but must be based in the broad south Denver Metro region/area
• 15-20 hours per week (depending on you)
• Flexible hours

Qualifications and Skills

IMPORTANT: Please be VERY clear in your cover letter or resume how you meet the following requirements!

• A passion for marketing, promotion and communications

• Knowledge of SEO concepts (e.g. possible experience of Google Analytics or similar)
• Knowledge and experience of marketing activities such as writing, social media marketing, blogging, email newsletters, etc
• Knowledge of how to use WordPress or similar to add content to websites
• Comfortable with basic editing and manipulation of images and graphics for marketing (blog / ads) purposes
• Basic HTML knowledge for formatting

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $18.00 per hour
