Summary: Oversees and is accountable for the customer experience, operational integrity, branch efficiency, sales activities, and employee management and development within the branch, in order to identify and support the needs of our customers and branch growth objectives. This position is responsible for developing long lasting relationships with consumer and business customers. Accountable for customer satisfaction, deepening customer relationships, consumer and business acquisition, retention, and deposit growth objectives.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, plus 5 years of retail banking experience with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial capacity.
OR
- High School diploma or equivalent and 7 years retail banking experience with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial capacity.
- Must be mobile to meet the needs of the business, working flexible hours in various branch locations
- May be required to work extended hours, including weekends

Specific Job Functions:
- Manages the customer experience, operational and sales activities, and employee development.
o Works closely with staff to role model and lead branch team to foster a relationship centric service and sales culture.
o Accountable for meeting branch goals through effective pipeline management and use of effective customer profiling

Responsible for team development and branch management, as well as the operations of the branch to maximize efficiency.
o Oversees the overall operational effectiveness of the branch
o Delivers annual appraisals for branch staff
o Has expert knowledge of Bank’s policy and procedures. Regularly communicates changes to branch staff and ensures staff understands and adheres to same.
o Supervises all related training, Human Resource and Employee Relation issues.
o Ensures overall security guidelines are adhered to by all employees to ensure employee and customer safety.
o Oversees branch cash management, quality control issues and internal controls.
o Supervise vault operations, other cash drawer operations, and various areas of the branch adhering to dual control procedures
o Opens accounts in a platform environment
o Provides technical direction and judgment pertaining to daily work operation.
o Compliance with all Bank Secrecy Act Regulations; Customer Identification Program and know your customer requirements.
o Manage overall branch operations within established Bank policies and procedures to ensure satisfactory audit results. Ensure that all personnel understand and comply with all state and federal rules, regulations, and laws.
o Responsible to ensure the branch is opened and closed in compliance with procedures.
o Scheduling of branch personnel to ensure adequate staffing for maximum customer service and daily operational functions.
o Ensure the timely and accurate completion of various monthly audits, certifications, proofs, reconciliations, and other duties as assigned in accordance to policy.
o Ensure branch reports are reviewed as outlined in Policy and Procedures

Provide factual and well documented employee performance appraisals.
- Hold monthly/quarterly Sales and Security meetings with staff members to ensure all staff understands operational and sales goals.
- Handle customers with unique situations or in conflict with bank policies or procedures to ensure positive customer results. (Timely and adequate responses while maintaining the integrity of the Bank’s policies and 5 Star Customer Service).
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Human Resource policies as put forth by the Bank.
- Ability to perform all duties for all positions within the branch as necessary.
- Assist in other areas of the bank/branch as assigned.
