Day Porter / Cleaning Technician - Varied Shifts

Blue Moon is a North Hollywood-based professional cleaning company focussing in janitorial, building maintenance, and site or facility services. We serve the Greater Los Angeles Metro Area. Blue Moon is seeking an upbeat, dedicated, and detail-oriented cleaning and maintenance technician/Day Porter to join our dynamic and growing team. Experience is preferred but not required and we will train you. • Starting Pay: $17.00 to $18.00/Hourly
• Full-time employees generally average 40 hours per week or more after completing have completing an extensive paid training program,

Here Are Some Additional Details About the Position:

• Valid CA Driver's License is required, own car preferred/reliable transportation required
• Must reside within a reasonable distance of Blue Moon’s North Hollywood/Burbank location.
• Assignment locations can vary throughout the Greater Los Angeles Area (including Santa Clarita, El Segundo, Pasadena, Altadena, Metro LA, San Pedro, Pomona, etc.) Reliable transportation is a must to be able to get to all these locations and any other client locations that may arise in personal vehicle as needed. Some shifts may require traveling to multiple locations (one location to the next) within one shift period. Mileage reimbursement to be paid as applicable for travel between multiple sites within a shift.
• Training will involve meeting at our office in North Hollywood and working with a crew at one or more sites.
• Day Porter shifts may include cleaning one or more locations in one shift. Must be able to manage time effectively to clean a building thoroughly according to the tasking list and schedule in order to move on to the next location in a timely manner.
• Cleaning technician shifts may include one large job in one day, or multiple jobs and locations in one day. This position will float between cleaning technician and day porter shifts as needed.
• Please note that while Blue Moon does not have a COVID-19 vaccination requirement, many of our clients and/or locations we service do require proof of vaccination and/or COVID-19 testing requirements.
• Must be available to work days, nights, weekends, split shifts - shift schedules may vary. Shifts may only include start times with varying end times.

Typical duties include, but are not limited to:

Performing cleaning and COVID-19 prevention and disinfection services, including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, wiping, trash pickup, kitchen and bathroom cleaning. Other duties may include exterior pressure washing, floor maintenance including buffing and polishing, window cleaning, COVID-19 preventative disinfection, and other related tasks.

ISSA Cleaning Certification is a PLUS but not required. IICRC Certification is a PLUS but not a requirement - Carpet Cleaning Experience is a PLUS but not a requirement, Stone and Tile Cleaning Experience is a PLUS but not a requirement, Air Duct Cleaning Experience is a PLUS but not a requirement -Bilingual is a PLUS, but not necessary -MUST SPEAK, READ, & WRITE ENGLISH
