What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food and Beverage Outlet Manager position at Blue Mountain Resort?
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: We are seeking a punctual, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited for an opportunity to provide a guest with an experience that is beyond their expectations and creates guests for life. This position is primarily responsible for the day-to-day operations of our food outlet locations throughout the resort.
REQUIREMENTS:
- The desire to lead a growing food & beverage team.
- The ability to recognize and develop talent within their staff.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, particularly when working in a fast-paced environment or under pressure.
- The ability to provide outstanding guest service.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to comply with/enforce health & safety regulations and policies.
- Develop new ideas and ways of increasing revenue while controlling costs.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:
- Recruit, develop, and retain top talent.
- Promote a positive work environment through effective communication and creating a warm and engaging atmosphere.
- Hire, train, evaluate, and coach staff to ensure superior service is being provided.
- Review scheduling and labor needs to exceed guest expectations while maximizing efficiency for forecasted business.
- Empower staff to decide, act, and wow guests.
- Coordinate staff assignments by procedures and schedule including assigning stations, side work, and cleaning of equipment and storage areas.
- Assist in the development and updating of standard operating procedures and training for staff to improve the quality of service.
- Maintain clean and orderly back of the house areas, pre-function areas, and storage areas.
- Maintain proper inventory of respective paper and food products.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
