As part of a small, passionate, and accomplished team of experts, you will work on launch vehicles, space vehicles, and launch facility systems for the New Glenn Program. You will work across subsystems and support integrated solutions to achieve our vision of "millions of people living and working in space." You will develop, allocate, manage, and verify requirements and interfaces using tools like DOORS Next Gen and other functional analysis toolsets. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Computer, Aerospace, Systems Engineering, or other related field. Direct hands-on systems engineering experience, preferably with aerospace electronic systems or sophisticated electronic hardware. Direct experience in requirements authoring, decomposition, analysis, traceability, and verification. Direct experience with sophisticated electronics systems/component design. Solid understanding of ARP 4754 and/or DO-254/DO-178 or similar standards. Experience with DOORS or similar requirements management tools. Ability to coordinate and complete a product design review (SRR, PDR, CDR). Experience in writing product certification/qualification plans and reports. Experience with system safety documentation such as Functional Hazard. Assessments (FHA); Architecture Safety Assessments (ASA), Fault Tree Analyses (FTA), and Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECAs). Experience in managing system level power budgets, latency, and system redundancy requirements. Familiarity with integrated systems verification, including developing hardware verification test plans and verification test reports. Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to our inclusive culture. Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Desired: Experience with MIL-STD/DO-160/SMC-S-016 environmental qualification testing. Familiarity with all phases of the product development lifecycle. Familiarity with HW / Embedded SW development, integration, and verification. Familiarity with scripting and data analysis experience using Python, MATLAB, or equivalent programming languages. Experience with ethernet based communication protocols. Familiarity with Supplier Technical Management, including SOW development, test plan and test results review, change management. Experience leading teams through project planning and execution. Graduate degree in relevant engineering or related field.
