Production Associate II

Kent WA- 100% Onsite
A Shift: Monday - Thursday 5:00am - 3:30pm PST
C Shift: Friday - Sunday 5:00am - 5:30pm PST

As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team of experts, you will be facilitating the flow of aerospace hardware and equipment to and from various work centers or departments for various spaceflight systems. You will share in the teams impact on all aspects of manufacturing and production. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention toward safe and repeatable spaceflight.

Responsibilities:
- Coordination with all applicable Clients departments to ensure on-time delivery of raw material, parts, consumables and tooling to and from the appropriate work centers.
- Enforce completion of work center buyoffs prior to moving hardware to the next work center.
- Ensure hardware and equipment are properly staged for inter-plant transportation/movement.
- Cross-reference and confirm part quantity, part number, serial number, labeling and routing sheet persist with hardware throughout plant movements.
- Contribute to zero-defect philosophy by escalating observed non-conformance or design/manufacturing issues that deviate from the nominal process.
- Oversee inventory control of specialty tooling in a production ready condition.
- Purchase shop consumables and items in support of production demand.
Qualifications:
- Passion for our mission: Millions of people living and working in space!
- Ability to lift 40 lbs. unassisted.
- Lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this position.
- Willingness to utilize powered lifting equipment, fork lifts, pallet jacks, hoists, lift tables etc to support safe hardware handling operations.
- Minimum of high school diploma or GED.
- Must be open to working all required shift hours, including overtime and weekends, as needed.
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion.
Desired:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Strong computer skills, familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, etc).
- Prior experience within the aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, or electronic industries.
- Experience in organizing files, documents and shop 5S
- 3 years of experience in an industrial environment.

Salary: $32.00 per hour
