This is a senior management role that will impact the future of the way we approach strategy at Bluecadet. This leader is a charismatic, personable, well spoken, do-er. They’re an organized, persuasive communicator and strategic thinker who can jump into a project opportunity, quickly understand its potential (or lack thereof!), and convey how Bluecadet can help achieve the client’s unique needs and goals. They’re a seasoned manager of people and processes, and have a keen interest in growing and supporting a team.


Responsibilities

  • Manage proactive and inbound business development efforts, such as vetting leads and responding to inbound requests
  • Manage the tracking of lead generation and conversion for new projects
  • Closely review proposal requests and new business leads, be a key decider in regard to pursuing a new opportunity or not.
  • Manage the creation of new opportunity project briefs, and their update as leads develop,to be shared with project leads and other studio leadership.
  • Develop proposals and related materials (including project plans, estimates, project case studies etc) based on existing templates and strategic vision outlined by project leads (Design, Content, Development, Project Management) and/or the head of New Business. Over time, it is expected that this Senior Strategist role can drive initial vision for others to react/respond to.
    Coordinate and contribute to strategic insight in meetings between the core Business Development team and discipline leads to determine vision for proposals and manage and guide input efforts from team members.
  • Participate in project pitches, as necessary and support follow up efforts, as required
  • Support proactive business development efforts by researching potential new clients, creating contact lists, and managing our client database
  • Identify and help to develop strategic relationships with partners or potential clients as applicable
  • Establish and maintain ongoing client relationships as applicable
  • Manage the oversight of Bluecadet’s digital assets for proposal and project assets

  • An enthusiastic and curious attitude, able to quickly gain expertise in a variety of subject matters
  • Previous experience in a production/PM role
  • Proficient in the Google Suite, Copper, Canto – or ready and excited to learn
  • An interest in arts, culture, and design


Required Experience

  • 5-8 years of experience working in design and technology.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with relevant coursework in media studies, writing, marketing, communications, journalism or history
