Job Description
The Corporate Services & Retrofit departments works directly with end customers and outside architectural firms on corporate projects, slope built-up, low profile roofs and reroof projects.
The Corporate Services Manager provides outstanding customer service to the Corporate Services department through thorough and consistent order clarification and project management to achieve successful projects while maintaining or increasing sold margin as well as providing exemplary customer service for projects after shipment. The Manager oversees the Corporate Accounts team, Self-Storage, Fast-Track, Components program and Retrofit program within the brand.
- Develop and manage Corporate Services which includes the Retrofit, Fast-track, Self Storage and Program/Corporate Account projects through direct oversight into Customer/Account development, clarification, project management to ensure company policies are adhered to and risk on projects is mitigated through cooperative coordination between all company disciplines. Balance the workload for comprehensive benefit of all Project Managers, Clarifiers and Project Assistants and all other key stakeholders. Ensure Project Managers, Clarifiers and Project Assistants across the department are utilizing consistent tools and processes and meeting end customers’ expectations. Develop and manage department budgets and staffing needs.
- Provide post-shipment customer service to ensure projects are erected properly and that all field related issues are addressed promptly and satisfactorily. Goal is complete owner satisfaction with in-place product. Resolve external and internal customer issues regarding pricing, invoicing, project management, scheduling, delivery, erection, claims, fabrication, raw materials, and warranty.
- Develop and maintain a complete, consistent, and accurate project model that allows Production Engineering to have an achievable schedule.
- Proactively address quality issues to achieve a fair and equitable resolution for the company and end customers. Provide management guidance on claims resolutions.
- Assist, as necessary, to address credit issues to ensure the company is paid within assigned terms at minimal risk.
- Manage projects to maintain agreed upon schedules while ensuring project margins are maintained or improved. Develop training schedules for all departments.
Qualifications
Minimum:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 10 years of experience managing customer service and project management functions
- Knowledge of company policies and procedures related to Project Management, Project Clarification, and response to field issues
- Knowledge of Production Engineering, Manufacturing and Scheduling processes
Preferred:
- College degree in Engineering, Business or a related field
