We are looking for a Senior Inventory Planner to join our Planning team at Fingerhut, a market-leading FinTech whose mission is to help its customers establish, build, or rebuild their credit! This role will be based out of our Eden Prairie office which operates in a hybrid work setting.

As a Senior Inventory Planner, you will work closely with the buying team to support merchandising strategies. In this role, you will build and manage partnerships with internal and external customers to control inventory levels. You will be responsible for forecasting and planning inventory, analyzing data, predicting trends, while managing product lifecycles, lead times, warehouse capacity, and more. As a people leader, you will also guide your team to manage these touch points in their businesses. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and mentor a team of Inventory Planners and Coordinators by communicating a clear set of expectations, coaching, implementing strategic plans, managing priorities, and driving business results to meet corporate objectives
- Develop and implement strategies to deliver and exceed inventory goals including in stocks, inventory turnover, and weeks of supply while driving sales and profit
- Collaborate with the Buying Team to build categorical strategies and manage the monthly forecast, the dropship/warehouse mix, and open to buy process for your business areas
- Manage product level forecasts; analyzing and revising the data and managing alerts to deliver accurate projections in anticipation of customer needs
- Optimize replenishment settings to balance inventory flow while delivering expected in stock results
- Lead and execute Seasonal planning strategies as needed
- Drive effective product life cycle management through recommending appropriate marketing and promotional action
- Partner with supply chain and fulfillment teams to reconcile issues
- Foster productive vendor relationships to support department and company goals
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Minimum 3 years of experience in Merchandising, Inventory Planning, Supply Chain, or similar
- Experience managing and motivating teams of 3 or more
- Strong communication (both written and verbal) and presentation skills
- Solid problem-solving and analytic skills
- Ability to build strong partnerships across organizations
- Self-starter with a high level of flexibility and commitment, and a strong drive to win
- Adept at working cross-functionally to achieve desired results
- Proven knowledge and skill in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with Oracle Retail Planning software (AP/IP, MFP, RDF)
