BlueSun has a great opportunity in the Transportation Service Department for Oregon State University in Eugene, OR.
The Motor Pool is a university-operated car rental service serving the short-term rental needs for Oregon State University and other local agencies.
This position will support motor pool operations through in-person interactions with:
- Customers dispatching and returning vehicles.
- Vehicle detailing,
- Washing and fueling.
- Basic customer service skills and the ability to operate a vehicle are required.
The candidate will be required to drive university vehicles and must have the following requirements:
Driver Requirements:
Any person operating a state vehicle MUST meet Minimum Driver Requirements and Voluntary and Compulsory Driver Standards in OAR 125-155-0100-0200 as summarized below:
- Be 18 years or older.
- Hold a valid and current driver's license.
- Have NO major traffic offense within the last 24 months. This includes reckless driving, DUI, failing to perform the duties of a driver, driving while suspended, eluding a police officer, felony or misdemeanor driver license revocation or suspension of driving privileges within the last 24 months.
- Have NO more than three moving traffic violations within the last 12 months.
- Have NO careless driving convictions within the last 12 months.
- Have NO Class A moving traffic infractions within the last 12 months.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and other pre-employment screening.
