Makeup Artist

Job Overview:
We want to grow our team with even more talented artists at Blush Dry Bar Salon. Our award-winning team specializes in Special Occasion Makeup for all of life's special events or just for FUN!

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional Makeup services to clients
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques (Airbrush & False Lashes)
• Recommend appropriate skin care products and treatments to clients as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work station
• Sanitize tools and equipment after each use
• Assist with front desk duties as needed
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction
• Understand and agree with our vision, culture, and core values.
• Arrive on time or early for shift prepared.
• Know all products sold at the salon.
• Know all services offered at the salon.
• Know bar drinks and serve responsibly (asks to see ID)
• When at the salon, it is comfortable to answer the phone and use the computer.

Schedule:

Monday: CLOSED

Tuesday: CLOSED

Wednesday - Sunday: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

• Afternoon shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift

• Rotating weekends
• Weekends as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

• Cosmetology License/ And OR Esthetician License
• Proven experience as a Makeup Artist/ willingness to learn
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
• Team Player/upbeat attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work evenings and/or weekends as needed

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 30 per week
