About the Role:
BMNT Program Managers independently lead a series of related projects within a single program. Program Managers take ownership over the execution of the program, including contract management, staffing, project management, and business development. Program Managers align BMNT products and company objectives to the program’s objectives and the customer organization’s larger vision, mission, and strategy. They ensure that projects within the program are properly defined, represent a creative use of BMNT’s products and services, and motivate our customers to transform their outcomes and the approach they take to the problems they face.
This role will work specifically with our Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) portfolio. Examples of past projects include developing rapid manufacturing capabilities, detecting fraud and outlier transactions, and deploying next-generation cybersecurity capabilities. Location: This is a Hybrid position with the expectation of being in the Arlington, VA office two to three days per week. Weeks with in-person engagements may require more time in the office or travel to other sites in the DC Area.
What You Will Be Doing (Responsibilities):
- Develop and own the master program schedule, resources, daily operations, risk analysis and overall plan for the program to ensure BMNT is successfully completing contract milestones and expectations.
- Coach and mentor customers and stakeholders in strategic communications, messaging, and storytelling for senior government audiences.
- Lead and manage (sometimes indirectly) all people involved in a program, including: motivating team members to perform at their best; building camaraderie amongst the team; coaching them on various aspects of the project life cycle; and verifying that their project work aligns with the program objectives.
- Mentor new project leaders to manage specific projects and support in the development of project training curriculums for project leaders.
- Develop positive relationships with program stakeholders at all levels.
- Develop and/or evolve processes to improve productivity, efficiency, and satisfaction of project teams and improve company’s practices.
- Provide insights on risks and issues, serving as an initial escalation point.
- Communicate and present (verbally and through status reports) up, down, and out to all internal and external stakeholders about the success, roadblocks, challenges, missed opportunities, and program updates.
- Review customer requests and develop efficient processes for validating, scheduling, tracking, and accomplishing.
Experience and Qualifications You’ll Need to Thrive in the Role:

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Proven Program Management experience and knowledge of current project management methodologies.
- 4 years of government experience.
- 8 years of work experience with at least 4 years at BMNT.
- Experienced user of project management/collaboration tools.
- Government contracting experience and knowledge of OTA contract structure
- Excellent project management skills including planning work, managing details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track, using time well, and doing whatever it takes to deliver outstanding results.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to facilitate and present in both large and small group settings.
- Proven experience in providing service to internal stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering complex projects on time and on budget.
- High level of business, financial and technical acumen.
- Ability to perform under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Experienced at managing up, across, and within a range of different methods.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to influence without authority across a variety of teams.
- Ability to drive enterprise change and passion for continuous learning.
- Intermediate to expert level facilitation skills.
