Position Overview:
BMS Re is currently seeking an experienced Marketing Professional responsible for driving and executing the business strategy and providing technical marketing support to all offices to support our growth ambitions in the U.S. The role will also participate in global BMS Group-wide initiatives and strategic developments. This role will primarily be responsible for driving implementation of the marketing plan by developing and facilitating creative solutions using marketing tools implemented by BMS Group to enhance client service, prospecting efforts, and business optimization.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Drive multi-channel marketing programs to deliver marketing activities, campaigns, and collaborations, and build customer engagement to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
  • Lead the development and execution of all aspects of the BMS Re marketing strategy, including annual strategic plan, KPI’s, KRI’s, budget, marketing campaigns, conferences, events, projects, and programs (brand build, campaigns, digital marketing, etc.)
  • Manage and lead a team of marketing professionals to achieve marketing goals and ensure strategic plan deliverables are timely and effectively met
  • Establish close relationships with key stakeholders, acting as an advocate for departmental activities to ensure effective communication of issues and processes
  • Generate and manage content, marketing collateral and merchandise for all U.S. offices for general use and conferences and events
  • Collaborate with colleagues across international offices on larger marketing initiatives
  • Support internal communications by engaging with different departments and teams to ensure consistent messaging and an informed organizational culture
  • Partner with PR resource to develop and execute media relations program in the U.S. and London
  • Manage other external resources to develop and execute programs and projects
  • Collaborate on content strategy and user experience guidance for digital marketing efforts
  • Serve as lead and/or supporting writer across communications channels (digital content, print advertising, collateral)
  • Serve as the advocate to the sales operations team, providing guidance and oversight in the development of all marketing-related communications to ensure consistency with established message strategy and brand guidelines and the support needed to convert more prospects
  • Develop and implement scalable marketing metrics to measure the impact and adaptability of our marketing strategies
  • Conduct, secure, and/or analyze market research to ensure marketing efforts are effective
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and adjust marketing strategies accordingly
Required Education, Experience and Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university preferably in Marketing, Business, Finance, Economics, or other business development oriented major
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience working in advertising and/or corporate marketing environments
  • Experience in the insurance or reinsurance industry is highly desired
  • Action oriented leader with both creative and analytical capabilities
  • Introduce invented and creative solutions with a direct impact on revenue growth
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with global teams
  • Fluent understanding of marketing, communications and media relations planning and processes
  • Understanding of digital communications and ability to provide guidance in the areas of content strategy and user experience
  • Highly developed ability to lead and manage many active projects simultaneously
  • Ability to champion ideas, working with multiple internal teams to achieve a common goal
  • Extensive experience supervising external vendors

The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide marker range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary advanced to the desired candidate will be based on a number of factors, including geographic location and the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the desired candidate.
