About the Global Markets Economic Research & Strategy - groups:

The objective of the Research and Strategy teams is to produce economic and financial market analysis for consumption by both internal stakeholders and external clients. The North American economics and strategy teams are based in New York City, while the broader group is based in London.

Responsibilities:

This US-focused editor will work for the Economic Research and Strategy groups to provide value-added editing and supervisory approvals. Key tasks will include, but will not be limited to:

• Work closely with our global publications team to review, edit, and distribute reports generated by BNPP’s global economics and strategy teams.
• Provide primary editorial responsibility for written product generated in North America.
• Provide value-added input on structure and presentation of published pieces.
• Work with authors to improve, over time, structure and drafting to improve product for clients.
• Collaborate closely with regional senior management on bespoke presentations and other content.
• Maintain highest ethical standards and adherence to strict compliance guidelines.
• Must be able to handle high‐volume of production of publications and presentations.
• Must have an extremely strong attention to detail, ability to multi‐task.
• Must work well in a collaborative, team‐oriented environment.

• Bachelor degree or higher
• 5 years relevant experience in global markets/finance/economics/related field.
• FINRA certifications S24, S4, and/or S3; or willingness to pursue as required to ensure smooth approval process with US compliance
