We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate - Technical Product Management to join our Digital Assets Business team. This role is located in New York/NY.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Work with stakeholders and SMEs to analyze, and define the business requirements, functional specifications, and operational architecture for a functional work stream within a highly complex strategic, global program.
- Formulate and define scope and objectives for the product deliverables with thorough understanding of business processes in a specific business domain.
- Write detailed user stories with acceptance criteria and technical specifications in collaboration with development team.
- Evaluate different Blockchain protocols / platforms to explore alternative solutions.
- Maintain familiarity with industry best practices and seek opportunities to implement as appropriate.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- At least 4 years of professional work experience in building world class products and solutions.
- Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams comprising product managers, project managers, and engineering
- Experience in designing and developing Blockchain, DLT solutions.
- Understanding of leading blockchain protocols, strengths and gaps
- Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to accomplish goals through others, including employees, peers, and other function/business areas of the company.
- Experience in the securities, financial services, or asset management industry a plus
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Advanced/graduate degree and background in marketing/finance preferre.3-5 years of total work experience preferred.
- Experience in Product Management, operations, client management preferred.
- MBA or CFA preferred.
- Product Leadership Certification preferred.
- Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.

BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $54,000 and $116,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
