We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Specialist, Vice President to join our Corporate Treasury team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA & Lake Mary, FL (Hybrid).
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
The Specialist position is part of BNY Mellon’s Corporate Treasury division. Successful candidates will partner within Corporate Treasury and with businesses throughout the company to deliver state-of-the-art analytical solutions to support liquidity strategies and framework.
Primary responsibilities include:
Performing historical and data analysis on BNY Mellon deposits as well as examining the liquidity impact of various deposit movements
Supporting interactions with supervisory teams by drafting regulatory responses, supplying requested data, and explaining rationale behind any analytical assumptions
Leading and coordinate projects with multi-disciplinary teams across Corporate Treasury, Risk, and Finance, and the businesses; manage timelines for project deliverables and communicate status updates to stakeholders and senior management
Assisting in the implementation, creation, and communication of new documentation and reporting control standards across the organization
Establishing relationships with senior representatives of businesses, Risk Management, Finance and Corporate Treasury to analyze deposits and liquidity funding
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
Bachelor’s degree preferably in economics, business analytics, information systems, or finance
At least three years of prior banking or other relevant experience
An advanced user of Microsoft Excel
Strong quantitative skills; ability to synthesize large amounts of data and formulate insightful conclusions
Strong written and verbal communications skills; ability to communicate technical subject matter clearly to individuals from various backgrounds
The ability to work under pressure and to succeed in an unstructured and changing environment
Preferred skills include the following:
Experience with or an openness to learn Python, Visual Basic (VBA), and/or SQL coding languages
Experience with or an openness to learn Tableau and/or PowerBI data visualization software
Strong background in finance/banking, and solid understanding of bank liquidity regulations including the Liquidity Coverage Ratio and operational deposits
Process and project management skills are an asset
