This Logistics Coordinator position will work closely with carriers and vendors to pick-up clients' shipments. Your attention to detail and ability to stay on top of daily shipments is key to this position. The right candidate must be able to work on a team, have strong verbal and written communication skills, must be able to multi-task, handle high volume of work, be a quick learner and solution oriented.

Typical Logistics Coordinator Requirements

• 1-2 years experience needed with dispatch
• Order Entry
• Experience with working with drivers, dispatch and clients
• Understands Bill of Ladings, Delivery Receipts, D.O.'s , rate confirmations, etc...
• Collaborate and share ideas
• Kind / Humble
• Work well with different personalities * Provide assistance by email or telephone to clients, vendors and carriers
• Working with Team Members
• Must have patience, clear communication skills and empathy
• Must remain professional at all times even under duress
• Ability to use positive language
• LTL and FTL will be a plus
• Ability to “read” customs current emotional state * Quoting, Building and monitoring shipments
• Attentiveness to detail
• Time Management and Organization skills
• Any given work day email averages 50
• Diagnose, assess and resolve issues
• Learn/retain/obtain solid knowledge about the industry will assist in navigating complex situations
• Ability to handle surprises
• Showing Tenacity
• Bilingual English/Spanish
