Drill Hand

Boart Longyear is looking to hire Drill Hand to join the team.

As a Drill Hand, you’ll be helping the Driller Team Lead by moving supplies to and from locations, setting up a drill, tearing down a drill, traveling to different states, and more. This position offers a lot of growth opportunities as you work your way up to a Driller Team Lead position and even higher including more pay.

Your safety gear and training is fully paid for.

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: Based on Experience ($17-$19/hr)

Schedule: Depends on job site. Schedules can be 7 days off with 10 days on, 10 days off with 20 days on, etc. Steady work.

Job Responsibilities:

• Hauling supplies to and from the drill site

• Manual material handling

• Mixing drilling fluids

• Assisting the driller in the drilling processes

Qualifications:

• Be willing to travel weeks at a time and work in remote locations

• Be able and willing to work overtime up to 12 hour shifts

• Have a valid Driver's License

• Must pass a Background Test and Drug Screen
• Be okay with pay range of $17-$19/hr
• Be willing to complete a Functional Capacity Evaluation (test of strength to safely do the job)
• Must be COVID19 Vaccinated or willing to get weekly testing done
