Job Responsibilities
Provide semi-skilled labor intensive assistance for drilling crews. This could include the operation of various types of equipment/machinery, including:
- Hauling supplies to and from the drill site
- Manual material handling
- Mixing drilling fluids
- Assisting the driller in the drilling processes
The candidate will also be responsible for general condition and obtaining optimum life out of all site equipment and tools. You must be responsible for keeping sample bags in numeric order according to designated footages. Also at times you may be responsible for the training of new driller assistants in a safe environment.
Qualifications
- Pass a drug screen and background check
- CDL preferred but not required
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Be willing to be gone weeks at a time and work in remote locations in different states
- Be able and willing to work 10-12 hours a day
Education and Experience:
