AUTOMOTIVE BODY SHOP TECHNICIANS

The Bob Johnson Automotive Group is proud to announce the newest member of the Bob Johnson Family. We have recently acquired the Dorschel Automotive Group and are currently looking to hire Automotive Body Shop Technicians of all specialties! We are currently looking for qualified painters, paint-prep technicians, bodymen, and collision repair specialist of all brands! We are offering competitive pay and full benefits. Previous experience as a body shop technician IS required, but are willing to train to further career! Qualified applicants MUST BE customer service oriented and ready to work!

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Diagnose the extent of the damage and provide a detailed estimate.

• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.

• Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty or if requested by the customer or client.

• Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required

• Notify service advisor immediately if additional work outlined is not needed or required.

• Complete quoted repairs in a timely manner and express to advisor is unable to achieve in previously determined time frame.

• Document work performed.

• Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes.

• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.
