JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for all daily food service operations within a Bobby Dodd Institute operated Café, on the campus of McKenney’s Inc. This management level position is responsible for adhering to all State and County health regulations, providing excellent customer service, business financials, and providing a positive work and training environment for the BDI team and program participants.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide on-site, day to day, operational leadership
Perform opening and closing duties to ensure cleanliness, and organization throughout the facility
Train BDI program participants on the basics of food service
Direct liaison, and point of contact, between McKenney’s and BDI
Point of Sale operation, and maintenance of online ordering/payment system
Ability to create new menu items to drive sales and daily specials
Order taking and sandwich making
Cash handling and payment processing
Food preparation
Light dishwashing and janitorial
Maintain a clean and organized office area and work space
Communicate clearly and effecitevely with co-workers and customers
Stocking of food, dry goods, and supplies
Weekly order placement of all food and supplies needed
Complete daily/weekly financial paperwork, payroll, and bank deposits
Other duties, as needed, to ensure smooth operation on a daily basis

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma
Prior experience in food service management or supervisor role
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
Must be able to travel, to BDI corporate office, on an as-needed basis
Proficient utilizing Microsoft Office Suite and other required computer software
ServSafe Management certificate
