Job Posting for Business Development Manager - Beauty at Bobit Business Media
We seek a professional and highly-skilled Business Development Manager to join our sales team! You will be responsible for selling print, digital, and social media advertising solutions, as well as in-person event sponsorships, to prospective clients in the professional salon and nail care industries. Our business-to-business media brands have a 97 year legacy and are renowned in the industries that they serve. As we look to grow, we’re seeking ambitious sales professionals to discover and close net new leads and build a brand new sales territory.
Responsibilities:
Full-cycle sales development
Heavy prospecting to identify new business opportunities using research, outreach, and industry resources
Create and maintain strong customer relationships within the industry
Meet or exceed daily/weekly, etc. business development activities
Produce a high volume of prospecting calls/emails to create successful opportunities
Maintain accurate data/records in corporate database
Travel is required (trade shows, sales calls, etc.)
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Ideal candidates will have 1-3 years of relevant sales experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Exceptional communication skills over phone and email required
Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, and very detail-oriented
Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to effectively manage time
Display a high degree of ethical conduct and personal integrity
Reliable work attendance and a good corporate citizen
Ability to qualify leads with strong follow up skills
Microsoft Office Suite experience required
CRM platform experience
Background in B2B advertising/marketing a plus
Existing contacts within the professional salon and nail care industries a plus
