What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supply Chain Specialist position at Bodily?
Bodily is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to help the Supply Chain team manage the full lifecycle of our production process. You will be responsible for managing the purchase order and invoicing process for all our raw materials and finished goods. Additionally, you will assist the development and production teams to ensure delivery and launch timelines are met. You will also help manage our product database within our ERP system. You will be an integral part of the Supply Chain team, and you will be the point person to make sure our production process moves forward quickly and efficiently.
Purchase Order Management
- Work closely with the production team to start the purchase order process
- Track and manage purchase orders as they flow through the system
- Communicate PO details and status to all relevant parties in a timely manner
- Ensure accuracy for all purchase order details
- Update and manage PO information in our ERP system
Invoice Management
- Manage the invoicing process alongside our production and accounting teams
- Track and update all relevant invoice information as they are being processed
- Ensure accuracy for all invoice and payment details
- Make sure invoices are paid in a timely manner
- Update and manage invoice information in our ERP system
Supply Chain Management
- Manage product samples for photoshoots and influencer marketing
- Assist in managing our development, production, and launch calendars
- Document and create SOPs to help the Supply Chain scale processes
Product Data Management
- Create new products when requested from the merchandising team
- Maintain an accurate and organized product database
- Lead an internal project to update all SKUs and UPCs
- Help maintain accurate product cost data
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
- 1 years of experience in direct-to-consumer e-commerce or similar industry
- Skilled in using spreadsheet apps: Excel, Google Sheets, Smartsheets.
- Ability to organize and parse large sets of data from multiple sources.
- You love solving problems by dissecting data.
- Meticulous organizational skills. You enjoy creating order out of disorder.
- Experience in managing multiple projects at once with changing priorities.
