What you’ll LOVE doing:
The BODYBAR Pilates Studio Manager is responsible for operations, sales performance, team motivation and profitability for one studio in Fort Worth, TX. The Studio Manager oversees the daily operations including, but not limited to, management of front desk/sales staff, instructor scheduling, team member development, all aspects of retail and membership sales and retention, inventory, and facilities management. The Studio Manager trains and manages all part-time front desk/sales staff including scheduling of shifts and substitutes.
In addition, the Studio Manager is responsible for implementation of all company-wide promotions and specials. The Studio Manager is responsible for the account management and communications with all clients attending a studio in their portfolio. This highly visible role gives opportunity for leadership and growth within BODYBAR and is an essential member of the team. The Studio Manager needs to be a self-starter, very organized, have a high level of energy and enthusiasm, the desire and ability to motivate others, be able to organize community events, and develop community partnerships.
Essential Functions
- Manage all aspects of client services
- Manage studio client accounts and communication
- Maintain accurate pricing, promotion, and reward details
- Respond to customer reviews, questions, and comments
- Manage Front Desk/Sales Staff including
- Hiring and training new team members
- Ongoing development of existing team members
- Provide any assistance and/or direction related to their role
- Manage all scheduling
- Class times and type
- Instructor schedules and substitutes
- Front Desk schedules and substitutes
- Conduct sales training which includes online modules and role playing weekly
- Follow our detailed sales process and ensure your team members are adhering to it as well
- Manage all facility needs including
- Maintain inventory of studio supplies and re-order as necessary
- Manage weekly cash tally sheet and register needs
- Manage all facility issues and take the lead on troubleshooting problems
- Manage all studio communications –email, SMS, phone calls, etc.
- Ensure that all studio staff adhere to updates and promotions
- Make sure necessary communications are accurate and well designed
- Review and plan communications related to events, promotions and sales
- Run the day-to-day operations
- Run and submit payroll to accounting
- Address or report equipment and facility maintenance issues
- Ensure cleaning company is meeting facility standards
Responsibilities
- To invest in clients, perspective clients and BODYBAR team members
- To grow and improve the brand in the Fort Worth marketplace
- To achieve consistent growth
- To organize community, client, and charitable events in the studio
- To ensure the smooth daily operation of the studio(s)
- To report on daily operations to Owner
- Maintain accurate inventory of studio resale items
Qualified Applicants Will Possess
- 5 years management experience
- Positive, “glass half-full” attitude
- Joy for serving others
Not required but would be nice…
- Social Media chops…able to run our social media
- Familiarity with email marketing/monthly newsletters
- Familiarity with ClubReady software and its features
- Pilates or other teaching certifications
- Desire and ability to teach classes when necessary
Compensation and Benefits
- This position offers a competitive base salary; based on experience & performance; Expect to earn between $50K - $80K your first year based on studio growth
- Bonus of up to 50% of base salary annually
