Boecore is looking to hire a Product Owner to support the Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) program. Work location is in Colorado Springs, CO.
Responsibilities:
Candidate will serve as the Product Team Product Owner (like SAFe Product Manager) for the C2BMC Planner Product Team. They will be responsible for driving value delivery for the Planner application, part of a complex missile defense command and control system. The candidate will perform the following tasks:

They will be responsible for driving value delivery for the Planner application, part of a complex missile defense command and control system. The candidate will perform the following tasks:
- Specify stakeholder needs to drive the frequent delivery of value to the customer
- Coordinate and prioritize needs for multiple Task Orders
- Contribute to the overall C2BMC Program Roadmap
- Assess progress and report status to Leadership
- Act as the technical interface with the Government
- Manage stakeholder expectations
- Work with other Product Teams and ARTs to plan and execute C2BMC releases
- Interface with the Run Ahead, Platform & Infrastructure and Technical Leadership Teams and communicate priorities to the Product Team
- Support preparation and presentation of briefings and demonstrations to customer
The candidate is required to support the accomplishment of Earned Value Management, by working closely with the CAMs providing required information to assess EV performance, prepare variances and ETCs.
Technical Skills:
- Proven leadership experience with full life cycle development on large, integrated DoD systems, including requirements development and interpretation, design, implementation and test, fielding, and maintenance
- Demonstrated experience as either a Product Manager or a Product Owner
- Experience specifying customer needs and managing customer priorities
- Experience and understanding of Earned Value Management in a software development environment
- Knowledge of common software development and management tools such as Maven, git/gitea, Nexus and Eclipse
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Understanding of standard system engineering design artifacts such as Use Cases and SysML diagrams
Other:
Occasional travel to Huntsville, AL will be required for this position.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or related field from an accredited college with 14 years of professional experience or equivalent experience/combined education
- Experience leading and managing cross functional teams in the development and integration of large, complex software applications
- Demonstrated experience in performing stakeholder management in a large, complex Development program
- Knowledge of Command and Control system application development.
- Experience with Software Integration and formal testing
- Knowledge and experience implementing Cyber Security/RMF requirements
- Flexibility and willingness to take on unanticipated tasking
- Good verbal and written communication skills, can work independently and will possess the poise and flexibility required to work in a highly dynamic environment
- Working knowledge of MS Office products.
- Must have an active DoD Secret clearance
Preferred Requirements:
- SAFe Product Manager/Product Owner (PM/PO) certification strongly desired
- Good working knowledge of Ballistic Missile Defense concepts, Battle Management and Command and Control (BM/C2) systems, defense communications systems, and the BMDS is highly desired
- Team management/leadership in an Agile environment
- Experience with DoD integration processes, Agile and DevOps/DevSecOps methodologies and automated test tools
- Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience
- Product Owner and/or Scrum Master experience a plus
Salary Range: $128K - $179K
