To learn more visit becu.org/careers. SUMMARY The Disaster Recovery Program Manager is responsible for managing the activities of BECU’s Information Technology (IT) Disaster Recovery program. The Disaster Recovery Program Manager will develop, maintain, and deliver programs, training, exercises, and testing processes as it relates to IT Disaster Recovery This role will create and maintain standards, procedures, forms, and resource materials to support the Information Technology Disaster Recovery program. RESPONSIBILITIES Perform all responsibilities in accordance with BECU Competencies, compliance, regulatory, and Information Protection requirements. Facilitate and maintain IT disaster recovery policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines as directed. Maintain, enhance, and facilitate execution of technology disaster recovery methodology and risk assessments. Interview senior leaders and other stakeholders, develop surveys, questionnaires, and reports, and provide recommendations for implementation. Partner with Technology leadership to create educational materials related to Disaster Recovery procedures and standards. Enhance and improve IT disaster recovery strategy and vision in partnership with Technology and other business units. Support crisis management process through active involvement during IT disaster recovery related events. Create and maintain all IT disaster recovery templates, plans, reports, training materials and other documentation. Manage and facilitate simple to complex IT disaster recovery exercises and track risks, vulnerabilities, program gaps and recommended/proposed solutions. Facilitate and manage enterprise IT disaster recovery projects in partnership with Technology leadership. Support the Sr Manager Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery in the preparation of requested internal audit and regulatory examiner materials and liaise with auditors and examiners as needed. Maintain materials for all related steering and management committees. Perform additional duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in technology or related field, or equivalent experience required. Advanced degree preferred. Disaster Recovery certifications required. Minimum 5 years of functional experience developing disaster recovery programs in multi-disciplined environments including cloud, colocation, and legacy business systems required. Previous demonstrated experience with cloud computing and colocation technologies (i.e., Azure, Zerto) required. Previous demonstrated experience building, implementing, and managing enterprise class backup and recovery environment with complex networks (i.e., Veeam, NetWorker, CommVault) required. Proficient knowledge of ISO 22301 and 27021, NIST, FFIEC and other IT disaster recovery related standards and frameworks required. Proficient knowledge of high availability, fail-over and hot-standby techniques and solutions required. Demonstrated ability to work under high-stress conditions, such as a technology-related crisis required. Proficient knowledge of how to develop Recovery Time Objectives and Recovery Point Objectives gap analysis and recommendations to reduce identified gaps required. Strong verbal and written communications skills required. Full-time hours required, with additional hours as necessary. Availability to be on-call to respond to issues or problems that arise during non-business hours, including working off-hours to support disaster recovery test activities required.
