PAY RANGE
The Target Pay Range for this position is $100,900.00-$123,200.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $78,400.00 - $145,800.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.BENEFITS

As a Quantitative UX Researcher at BECU, you'll be at the forefront of shaping user experiences through insightful data analysis. Your expertise will drive the design and optimization of our products and services, ensuring they meet user needs and preferences. By collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you'll play a pivotal role in linking quantitative and qualitative insights, helping BECU make data-driven decisions that enhance our members' experiences. WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Design and Conduct Research Studies: Lead the planning, design, and execution of quantitative research, including surveys, experiments, and data analysis, to inform and elevate UX design and strategy.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work alongside UX designers, product managers, and other key stakeholders to define research objectives, hypotheses, and key performance indicators, ensuring alignment with our broader goals.
Optimize UX Practices: Apply your quantitative research expertise to assess and enhance the effectiveness of UX designs and interventions, driving continuous improvement in our user experience.
Ensure Research Integrity: Uphold the highest standards of research rigor, from study design through data collection, analysis, and reporting, to ensure the reliability and validity of your findings.
Analyze Data: Utilize statistical methods and tools to uncover patterns, trends, and actionable insights from quantitative data, directly impacting decision-making processes.
Synthesize Insights: Combine quantitative and qualitative research findings to provide a comprehensive understanding of user behavior, needs, and experiences.
Communicate Findings: Present your research findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear, compelling, and actionable manner through reports, presentations, and data visualizations.
Document Best Practices: Establish and maintain documentation of best practices for quantitative research methodologies, ensuring consistency and high standards across the organization.
Implement Data Collection Methods: Oversee the deployment of data collection methods, including surveys, experiments, and website analytics, to gather the insights needed for UX research.
Mentor and Guide: Support the growth of junior researchers and other team members by sharing your expertise in quantitative research methods and best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Psychology, Statistics, Human-Computer Interaction, Human-Centered Design and Engineering, or Social Sciences.
Minimum of 3 years in UX research with a strong emphasis on quantitative methods.
Desired Qualifications:
Advanced degree in a relevant field is preferred.
Expertise in statistical analysis methods and tools such as R, Python, SPSS, or similar.
Experience in designing and analyzing experiments and A/B tests to measure user behavior and preferences.
Proficient in survey design, survey platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey), survey analysis, and understanding survey response effects.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with qualitative research methods, such as usability testing and interviews, is an asset.
