Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Line Side Control Center First Line Leader (Level K) to support the 787 Final Assembly Team based out of North Charleston, South Carolina.
The successful candidate must be able to develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. In this role you will also promote employee engagement and build an organizational culture that improves employee satisfaction and retains a skilled and motivated workforce.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages, develops, and motivates employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines
Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies
Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3 years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role
3 years of experience developing and executing integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures
5 years of experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing
Ability to travel domestically/internationally up to 10% of the time
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3 years of experience with Boeing Problem Solving Model (BPSM) or Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
3 years of experience in cross-functional leadership, collaborative problem solving, building lasting relationships & proficiency in written and verbal communication
