Boeing Global Services (BGS) is currently seeking an Experienced Field Service Representative to support V-22 customer operations at Marine Corps Air Facility (MCAF) Quantico, in Quantico Virginia. Domestic short-term travel to other V-22 operational locations may be required.
Selected candidate will be collocated with USG representatives supporting US Navy MV-22 maintenance and flight operations. In addition, he/she will be responsible for coordinating and delivering MV-22 maintenance training in both formal classroom and OJT/PJT formats. This training will focus on aircraft system operation and effective maintenance management practices. A successful candidate must be capable of utilizing technical expertise and company knowledge to assist the Marine Corps customer in achieving and sustaining a high level of proficiency in the operation and maintenance of the MV-22 aircraft. Applies extensive technical expertise in maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and servicing MV-22 aircraft. Must possess political and communication skills to be able to function without support from other field service representatives. Develops and provides solutions to a wide variety of highly complex MV-22 technical problems without assistance. Is knowledgeable in and promotes sound MV-22 maintenance practices. Shall focus on coordination with unit Maintenance Department leadership efficient reduction of maintenance workload, prioritization of efforts and utilization of existing material and support resources.
Position Responsibilities:
- Proposes changes and improvements to existing procedures through approved review processes.
- Interfaces directly with senior customer personnel as the primary technical contact on significant issues requiring multiple solutions and coordination across company and customer organizations.
- Must possess a working knowledge of MV-22 structural, dynamic, hydraulic, electrical and avionics systems.
- Must be familiar with reading and interpreting Boeing engineering drawings.
- Should be familiar with the customer aviation maintenance programs and skilled in the use of MV-22 IETMS.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, and Power Point).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required as well as a thorough understanding of Boeing internal Support Engineering processes and procedures.
- Must be adaptable to the customer's rapidly changing operational priorities and display the initiative to provide technical training and advice under austere and stressful conditions.
- Alternate work schedules and or overtime may be required to support customer requirements.
- The ability to travel to both domestic and international locations is required.
- Must be able to deploy to austere and possibly hostile OCONUS environments for extended periods to meet customer requirements.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at MCAF Quantico, Virginia.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required with ability to obtain a Yankee White security clearance.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Proficient at Naval Aviation Logistics Command Information System for the Optimized Organizational Maintenance Activity (NALCOMIS OOMA)
- In-depth knowledge of Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) requirements
- Coordinate efficient and economical maintenance operations by providing technical assistance to guide personnel during maintenance and troubleshooting of V-22 aircraft and systems
- Minimum 3 years of previous aircraft maintenance experience.
- At the sole discretion of leadership, must be willing and able (on potentially short-notice) to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for a variety of deployment durations to meet customer needs and the statement of work. Unless compelling reasons exist, failure to deploy/travel will be considered as a resignation.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- A&P/FCC credentials
- Experience in a maintenance training/mentoring role
- Previous USMC Maintenance Control experience
- Experience as a V-22 QAR
- Familiarity with Marine Corps V-22 Training and requirements (T&R) and Advanced Skills Management (ASM)
Typical Education/ Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master 4 years of related work experience, 10 years of related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: $86,700 - $117,300
