Boeing's IT&DA Regulatory & Engineering Systems organization is looking for an eager Senior-level Programmer Analyst who has a passion for building large enterprise scale software systems. We are looking for teammates who are highly motivated and like solving challenging and complex problems across a variety of domains. This position supports software development of critical applications of airplane regulatory and certification systems.

The selected candidate will play an active role in facilitating transition from current state to future state of IT tools supporting digital transformation. This candidate must be a good communicator both verbally and written, to interact with peers and customers. This role requires the ability to work well with others on a team as well as independently. In this role you will be working within a diverse team of skilled and motivated co-workers to collaborate on results. Position Responsibilities:

• Leads and performs the design, program, test, implementation and documentation of complex computing applications and software or computing architecture and computing application system designs.

• Leads analysis of end user processes to define application requirements.

• Writes and compiles complex code based on documented design or designs application architecture that integrates application software and delivery subsystems for specific applications.

• Modifies or upgrades complex applications to maintain functionality and performance. Identifies and recommends improvements.

• Identifies and resolves complex programming or application architecture problems.

• Designs, programs, tests, implements, documents and maintains computing applications.

• Gathers and evaluates end user requirements.

• Writes and compiles code and constructs database objects based on documented design and analyzes information to determine architecture specifications, parameters for software compatibility, application security needs and other application architecture requirements.

• Modifies or upgrades applications to maintain software functionality.

• Ensures that application integrates with overall system architecture, utilizing standard IT lifecycle methodologies and tools.

• Reviews system performance and identifies and recommends improvements.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 10 years .NET development experience

• Experience with .NET technologies like C#, ASP.net, MVC, Entity Framework 6,WCF ,WPF, Service Oriented Architecture(SOA)

• Experience in client-side technologies such as JavaScript, jQuery, Angular 7 or above, HTML5, CSS, UWP and different UI frameworks and 3 party controls

• Experience with relational databases such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, T-SQL, or PL-SQL

• Experience releasing software systems and code into production environments

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Hands-on experience with DevOps or DevSecOps practices and methodologies

• Experience with Cloud technologies and/or Cloud native app development

• Working knowledge on PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry)/Tanzu along with containerization and working with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience working in an Agile or Scaled Agile environment

Typical Education/ Experience:

Typically 10 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Summary pay range: $113,900.00-$164,450.00
