Job Title: Production Superintendent

Boise Cascade is seeking a highly skilled Production Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our manufacturing facility, ensuring that production meets quality and efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate production activities to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Supervise and train production staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
• Monitor and control production costs, including labor, materials, and equipment expenses.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production-related issues and improve overall performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as engineering, forestry, or wood science.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in manufacturing, with a focus on production management and supervision.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with production staff, management, and other stakeholders.
