Responsibilities
Environment: Work is performed primarily in a grocery store setting with extensive public contact and frequent interruptions.
Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.

Responsibilities
- Adhere to strict menu and time guidelines while working in fast-paced environment
- Make menu items to meet quality, portion, and time standards while using equipment and materials properly
- Operate grill using correct temperature and cleanliness, grilling items to standards in proper order
- Maintain line cleanliness and sanitation (cutting boards, floor, trash, slicer, and walk-in areas)
- Maintain a working knowledge of the menu, vendors and products in the deli
- Prioritize time to ensure that prep work, stocking, cleaning and customer service are handled efficiently
- Restaurant or deli experience required
- Passion for cooking and excellent customer service
- Able and willing to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Thrives as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with many interruptions
- Food safety certified by the State of Idaho
- Ability to comprehend instructions, recipes & training materials
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance, adhere to scheduled shifts, be ready to work when shift begins
