Director of Engineering

We are currently searching for a Director of Engineering to join our fast-growing team. This is a full-time remote position based in the USA. In this position you will have the opportunity to work with some of our biggest projects within the retail industry.

About You:

You are a humble, passionate, and experienced leader that can grow and inspire an engineering team. You’re interested in working in a highly collaborative work environment and you wake up every day excited to write code.

How You Will Make an Impact:

• You’ll help build out our engineering team and shape the department & culture moving into the future
• You will assist with architectural decisions, driving agile practices, and mentoring more junior engineers.
• You’ll work closely with our clients to ensure quick delivery and help shape our existing and new products.
• You’ll help shape clothing manufacturing for our clients with our data

• You’ll collaborate with a team excited to improve environmental impact and improve ecommerce.

Skills and Qualifications: (even if you do not meet these skills 100%, we still welcome you to apply)

• 5 years working as a developer in a professional setting.
• You have experience within the software industry.

• Very comfortable with Python (Flask, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy). Has an understanding of Jupyter Notebooks.
• Can navigate a SQL database and assist teams with small tasks.
• Understands JS, Node, & React, can help more junior developers if needed.
  Working closely with our roadmaps and planning teams, including timelines, execution, and business outcomes.
• You are eligible to work in the US
