What are the responsibilities and job description for the Performance Marketing Intern position at Boll & Branch?
As the Performance Marketing Intern, you will learn and provide support across our core media channels. You'll rotate through our primary media channels every 3 weeks, encompassing Paid Social/Paid Search, Influencer/Affiliate, and TV/Audio/Direct Mail, ensuring a thorough and diverse exploration across multiple marketing landscapes for a comprehensive learning journey.
You will report to the Senior Associate of Acquisition.
This internship is a part-time, 10-week program that runs from June 2024 to August 2024 onsite at our corporate headquarters in Summit, New Jersey.
Responsibilities:
- Play an active role in shaping specific channel strategies and gain valuable insight by shadowing team members during their day-to-day meetings.
- Leverage the Podcast Media Planning application, Magellan, for podcast planning, aligning tests with demographics. Track audio campaign metrics—impressions, airchecks/placement, conversion rates—to gauge performance and optimize strategies.
- Assist in monitoring TV campaign performance, analyzing metrics for effectiveness, and support in planning ad placements, scheduling, and budget management for optimal reach and frequency.
- Support A/B testing for Direct Mail content optimization, research target demographics, and oversee copy, visuals, and design approval for effective campaigns.
- Identify potential influencers based on target demographics, industry relevance, and engagement metrics, Track and monitor influencer campaign performance using analytics tools
- Collaborate on content ideas that affiliates can use to effectively promote products or services, audit top bedding related articles and YouTube channels/keywords to identify where Boll & Branch is and isn’t showing up
- Assist with building landing pages, facilitating the allowlisting process, and creative testing for paid social
- Help develop ad copy for copy testing on paid search
- Learn about the overall mission of the company and its products and understand the brand, customer, and department goals
- Collaborate with team members on varied projects to gain real-world experience and help to research, propose ideas and find solutions

Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program for Media and Performance Marketing
- Passion to learn about different paid media channels including Paid Search/Social, Offline & Affiliate/Influencer marketing
- Passion to learn
- A positive attitude, especially when met with unexpected challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with Google Suite.
- Part-Time availability up to 20 hours per week (Tuesday/Thursday).
- Accepting applications from rising Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors in an undergraduate program.
The primary location for this role is Summit, NJ. We believe our business and our culture are strongest when we work together in person. Interns are required to be in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays and will be paid an hourly wage as a part-time seasonal employee of $16.00 as part-time seasonal employees.
