General Summary of Duties: The Patient Attendant is responsible for providing wheelchair assistance as needed throughout the clinic for those patients who are physically unable. Thus being available in and outside of the building to assist patients to and from their vehicles
Example of Duties: (This list may not include all of the duties assigned)
Education: High school diploma or GED
Experience: Minimum of one year in customer service experience or volunteer position preferred.

General Summary of Duties: The Patient Attendant is responsible for providing wheelchair assistance as needed throughout the clinic for those patients who are physically unable. Thus being available in and outside of the building to assist patients to and from their vehicles
Example of Duties: (This list may not include all of the duties assigned)
- Make hourly rounds throughout each floor of the clinic.
- Keeps a daily log of activities.
- Checking the parking lot and around the building (weather permitting) for patients requiring assistance.
- Helps patients needing assistance. Transfer/transports patients in/out of wheelchairs using body mechanics techniques.
- Assists doctors' office.
- Follows clinic protocols in alerting appropriate personnel in emergency situations.
- Directs patients to appropriate locations within the clinic.
- Wipes down wheelchairs daily.
- Performs related work as required.
Education: High school diploma or GED
