JOB TITLE: Inventory Coordinator
REPORTS TO: Reliability & Maintenance Manager
SHIFT DAYS /HOURS: 8 hr. shifts (Mon-Fri) 7:00 am- 3:00 pm) Must be willing and able to work Mandatory OT on off days as necessary.
STARTING PAY: Staring at $28.00 per hour.
This individual will be responsible for all inventory tasks within the maintenance department. This will include inventory tracking, requisitioning, receiving, and organization of MRO parts for a maintenance department in an industrial manufacturing environment. Other responsibilities will include communicating with schedulers and pre-staging parts for projects and repairs. Inventory Coordinators must be very organized. This individual is also responsible for evaluating the current inventory processes of the company and implementing new techniques to improve efficiency.
What You Will Be Responsible For:

- Good organizational skills are necessary for an Inventory Coordinator to take charge of organizing inventory and improving the efficiency of the ordering and pre-staging processes.
- The ability to manage multiple projects at one time in an efficient and timely manner is important in this position.
- Good written and verbal communication skills are crucial for processing orders with vendors and interacting with maintenance schedulers.
- Inventory Coordinator’s need problem-solving skills to come up with ways to improve overall efficiency and overcome inventory problems.
- Communicate effectively with Supervisors, Line Leaders, and co-workers.
- Keep work area clean and safe.
- Wear required PPE.
- Inform Supervisor of any quality or equipment or safety concerns.
- Work without supervision at a good pace.
- Have an acute awareness of conditions and hazards associated with the job.
- Perform other duties assigned by Supervisor.
- These duties may require the temporary transfer to another department.
Work Environment / Physical Demands:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
- The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud and always without air conditioning.

- Ability to push/lift 75 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders, use man lifts, no fear of heights.
- Bending at waist, kneeling, climbing, walking, and crouching as job may require.
- Working around lubricants, solvents, batteries, cleaning fluids, paints.
