This individual will be responsible for assisting in the daily conceptualization and implementation of talk/lifestyle programming for television and the web. They will produce a variety of enterprise & sponsored lifestyle segments and stories. Note: Work configurations are subject to change based on business needs and at company discretion. This position is a hybrid role that requires the employee to sometimes work at our Salt Lake City site. Specific hybrid schedules will be determined based on business needs and evaluated by managers and senior management. What You Will Do: Primary job duties will include, but are not limited to: Produce daily segments, including editorial and sponsored content. Nurture positive client relationships, while supporting clients in their marketing needs. Contribute fresh content and story ideas in an effort to consistently reach new audiences Assist in the research and development of program content Conceptualize and produce creative, engaging enterprise stories Assist in the daily production details for various shows, including: writing scripts, coordinating graphics and font, and organizing props and displays Coordinating and updating content for digital and social media platforms Constantly look to produce innovative ideas Skills and Experience We Are Looking For: College degree in journalism, a related field, or equivalent Successful experience as a producer in a broadcasting environment, or equivalent Strong organizational skills and the ability to efficiently handle multiple projects Ability to conceptualize and produce a story with minimal supervision Strong verbal and written communication skills Self-starter capable of performing and handling stress, particularly during peak hours to meet deadlines Dependable and able to work under minimal supervision Physical Demands Receive, process, and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively Substantial physical movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction with good eye and hand coordination Lift, move, and carry up to 30 pounds on occasion Compensation $17.50-22.50. Hourly rate to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to evaluation of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant along with internal equity and alignment with market data.
