As a Server, it is essential that you maintain an energetic, friendly and caring attitude at all times. It is your responsibility to see that each guest is made to feel special and enjoys their experience. Servers need to display great customer service skills, ensure overall customer satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and sanitation.
Servers are the main point of contact for guest. They are knowledgeable in providing menu suggestions to customers and describing dishes. They deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely manner, oversee table maintenance, and monitor guests satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES
The primary responsibilities of the role include:
- Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, and company guidelines.
- Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times. Exceed guest expectations at all times by providing the FAB 5 Service Training.
- Support other service staff when needed to ensure the highest level of customer service standards.
- Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance programs.
- Fully understand and comply with all health and safety requirements of the restaurant.
- Arrive on time to your shift and be in correct uniform with all your tools.
- Opening/Closing/Side duties, as per your restaurant guidelines.
- Cross training in all service positions
- Provide suggestions to Manager as needed.
- Any other duties required of you by your manager or fellow associates to enhance the guest experience.
