Chiropractor

We are looking to hire a full-time Chiropractor to run the physical portion of our Functional Restoration Program. The Functional Restoration Program is a multidisciplinary rehabilitation program designed to help injured workers with chronic pain regain function and return to an active and fulfilling lifestyle. The program consists of a small group of outpatients who attend a 8-week long rotation (5 days each week) complete with a variety of classes throughout the day aimed toward increasing functional ability and psychological wellbeing.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Creation of both group and individual strength and conditioning programs
• Functional evaluations at the start and periodically throughout the program
• Generation of weekly progress reports as well as functional portion of initial assessment/evaluation reports
• Functional Capacity Evaluations for Clinic pain patients
• Determination of work restrictions as needed
• Teaching lectures as needed to pain patients
• Participation in multidisciplinary staff meeting

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

• California Chiropractor License

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong orthopedic assessment skills
• Background in orthopedics or sports rehabilitation
• Knowledge of pain neuroscience including the ability to educate patients with chronic pain conditions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team as well as autonomously.
• Working knowledge of myofascial release techniques and manual therapy skills is a plus.
• Experience with EMR documentation preferred but will train.
• Ability to establish rapport with patients, families, professionals, and co-workers.
• Able to work with patients and equipment using sound judgment.
• An attitude of excellence in providing quality patient care.
• Must provide proof of COVID vaccination up to booster, or a medical/religious exemption and test weekly.
